"L’Art de vivre à la française"

In this blog, you’ll find me mainly writing about French culture, cuisine, and lifestyle. It can become a source of inspiration, motivation or serve as navigation during your stay in Paris. Here I’m sharing my own experience of leaving in the city, giving some life hacks, addresses and opinions. So keep yourself updated!

  • Here’s another great expo not to miss! I’ve got fresh news from a recent visit to Galliera Palace. Which is one of the most beautiful fashion museums in Paris today. So, to those who follow the fashion tendencies, or not. Who loves Chanel #5, sparkling fantasy jewelry, little black dresses...the list is long. Or to those who are simply interested in the personality of a woman, who has proved to the whole fashion world, what she is capable of. To all of you, this post is dedicated...

  • In the section “Les actualités à Paris” I can’t help mentioning the reopening museums and current expositions there. In one of my recent articles, I’ve already talked about the best Parisian museums to reopen in 2021. The time had come.

After several months of closure due to the health crisis, we all are again able to rediscover the museums of the City of Paris in safety. From May 19, you can go there from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Remember to make a reservation though! It is the “must-do” today...

  • Hopefully, this summer Paris will open the welcoming arms for all visitors. In the meanwhile, why not have a virtual trip to the city of light? No plane ticket required. Only a wish for an adventure and a couple of films. The ones that were set in Paris, breathe Paris and reflect best its so special atmosphere. That’s why here is my recent collection of films that will make Paris come to you, or vice versa. Ready? Off we go...

Besides, for me as a personal guide in Paris, it is a professional duty (and pleasure) to stay up to date, to explore, to look behind the curtains, to shed light on things, and share after. It can be subjective, I know, however...

  • France is certainly famous for its numerous chateaux. Undoubtedly, this country is a real treasury of the most beautiful medieval and renaissance palaces and castles. Be it the famous Chateaux of the Loire Valley, of Brittany, the ones near Paris, or those in the south of France, their diversity and architectural beauty can’t leave indifferent. This historical and cultural wealth is the main reason why nearly 90 million tourists (in 2018) yearly cross the borders of this country. As a guide, adventurer, and a simple human being, I adore exploring those unique sites and share the best of the best with you in my blog of ideatourparis after
